REAL Winter Boots... And No Uggs!

I wanted to do a post on affordable, stylish winter boots that you can actually wear IN the snow. I live in Michigan and yet I haven't had a pair of boots since elementary school. Boots would have been a great idea while I was in college trekking around campus in the snow. Maybe this year is my year. Doubt it though, I'm pretty broke ;)

Sorel "Cate the Great" Boot

This is a great winter boot with gorgeous styling. The boot is approximately 13" with a rubber sole and a leather/suede combination for the body of the boot. I love the sort of corset style. Removable liner. Comfort level up to -25°F.

Keen "Snowmass" High Boot

Waterproof, slip-on boot by Keen. A simple design but a beautiful little boot. It has a removable thermal heat shield footbed. Whatever that might be ;)

Sorel "Mackenzie Lace" Holiday Boot

Another great Sorel boot; I think this is so cute. This boot you can pull on and has a warm fleece lining w/removable inner boot. Features quick dry removable footbed. Other colors available.

The North Face "Nuptse" Boot

This is an interesting looking boot. It's also available in white but I like the black ones much more. 600 fill down insulation. Snap closure. 6 1/2" shaft.

A beautiful leather boot by Privo with a thick rubber sole. This is a sophisticated looking snow boot which isn't always easy to find.

Hunter Tall High Gloss Rain Boot

I love these for their colors and their simple but beautiful style. I have been considering the violet boot for awhile now; it best matches my coat. These pretty much need a liner (sold separately).

Nike "Winter Solstice" Boot

This boot may not be for everyone but I love the sort of punky look of this one. I also like how the actual shoe part doesn't look so boot-like; it looks more like a Nike sneaker.
