I did this manicure the other day when our power went out... In the dying light of the day. Haha. I hate white polish, I don't know why I ever bought white polish and I'm not entirely sure why I'm sharing this with you now but here it is. I did two coats of A-ha Moment and two coats of Shooting Star on top.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Nail Color in "Silver Sweep"
I picked up this polish just the other day. I'm not sure if it's a new one or not but it was on display with the new Sally Hansens (the ones I'm sure are new). This one is a metallic silver. It's not a forgiving polish as far as mistakes go---they are super noticeable but the formula was nice and smooth, not gloopy and went on very nicely. It dried fast and covered completely in ONE COAT. Always a plus.
I did get a chip on my right index finger shortly after they were dry, however.
Ah hell... Anyway, have a look at the swatches...

Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover
I picked up Sally Hansen's Instant Cuticle Remover because it was cheap. It's under 5 bucks at most drug stores or beauty supply shops. It's cheap but it works great. It says on the bottle that it "dissolves dry cuticles in 15 seconds."
It comes in a small plastic blue bottle and you squeeze out the product (more like squirt out the product but I didn't want to say 'squirt out' and yet now I've said it twice). Anyway, sorry, you squeeze out the product onto your cuticle and I just wait about 15-20 seconds and then push back my cuticles with manicure sticks. The dry cuticle comes free with the solution as gloopy debris which you easily can clean up/wipe away with a towel.

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips vs. Art Club Glam Instant Nails
Let me preface this post by saying that I usually screw up anything remotely crafty. Especially if there is stickers or glue involved. I wanted to try the Sally Hansen Nail Strips though and my sister bought them for me right after I'd also bought some Art Club Instant Nails (which I could only find on that Canadian site at the moment).
I tried Sally Hansen first. It took me 45 minutes to do all of my nails and they came out looking OK if you didn't look at them too closely.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dry in "Lightening"
As with most yellows, this was a bit gloopy BUT I was extremely careful and with two coats, I was able to get it to cover pretty nicely. It's not perfect but it does look nice.
The nails on my right hand are much more uniform than the nails on my left so I started photographing my right hand this time around... With some help from my boyfriend when needed :)

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in "Going Green"
Here is the color I used last night on my mani. As my friend, Tom, said, "it's good for the environment of my nails." I like the color a lot (I'm a great lover of greens) but this formula is tough to work with as it's a little thick. That being said, it covers REALLY well.
There is a very sublte pearly sheen to this polish that's best evident in the up-close photo of the bottle.
Name: Going Green
Brand: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear

Available for $2.69 at Face Value

Sally Hansen "So Much Fawn" Swatch
I don't know what's been with all these topcoats (I don't usually use a ton of top coats, other than clear Seche Vite) but here is Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure "So Much Fawn" with Covergirl's "Gold Rush" topcoat.
