Sinful Colors in "Innocent" With OPI "Silver Shatter"

A friend of mine sent this polish my way and I finally got around to using it. The formula was a little gloopy going on (which is to be expected in this humidity, I suppose) but it evened out nicely and dried quickly. I often nick or smudge my manis before they completely dry but I never had any problem with this one.

Opi Fall 2011 "Touring America" Collection

Opi tweeted about their upcoming fall collection and it's so pretty I wanted to share it... Loving the darker colors AND the pinks... An interesting mix of color for sure.

The color names are: Uh Oh, Roll Down The Window, Honk If You Love OPI, A Taupe The Space Needle, French Quarter For Your Thoughts, Get In The Expresso Lane, Road House Blues

Suzi Takes The Wheel, I Brake For Manicures, Are We There Yet?, Color To Dine For, I Eat Mainly Lobster, and My Address is Hollywood.

I need to say that I hate the name "Uh Oh, Roll Down the Window" bur love the color... I also really like Get in the Expresso Lane, Suzi Takes the Wheel, Are We There Yet? and I Eat Mainly Lobster. (That last name I like a lot, so I guess it makes up for that other one haha.)

Any of them catching your eye?

OPI "Gargantuan Green Grape" Nail Lacquer

I had a hell of a time with this color. Usually I'm very happy with OPI polishes but "Gargantuan Green Grape" was a pain in the ass.

First coat was streaky and horrible looking--okay, fine. Then on some nails this continued through second and third coats and I kinda of had to glob it on in some areas and then attempt to even it out to get full coverage. Not fun.

Opi "Significant Other Color"

This color probably make a better topcoat than a polish on its own but I still think it's pretty and I like how it looks different (dusty pink/green) depending on the angle you're looking at it.

Opi "Plum Full of Cheer"

"Plum Full of Cheer" is a gorgeous plum! I hadn't run across this one online or if I had heard of it, I didn't pay it any attention but when I was browsing the polishes at Ulta the other day, this one really stuck out and I adore it!

My nails are all different lengths and it's driving me nuts. I filed and cut them a bit but it kills me to go back to square one with them all and I refuse to do it! I keep getting tears on the sides of my nails. I'm using Orly's Nailtrition right now (which will be reviewed shortly) and being very careful so hopefully that will help a bit. (Suggestions for nail strength/health are appreciated if any of you know of a great product!)

Opi "The Show Must Go On"

Name: The Show Must Go On (Burlesque Collection)
Brand: Opi
Taken with flash

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this color. I skipped MAC's "Bad Fairy" (Venomous Villains) for this and while I'm not sure they're exact dupes, this is all I really need! The photo doesn't do it justice--there is a little element of orange in there that the camera did not pick up. I got lots of compliments on this polish. Even my dad said something!
